CoinBeacon is free while it is in beta, and there is no paid plan behind the boards you use. If it has earned a place in your routine, a donation puts the market data and the servers on a steadier footing.

Where it goes

CoinBeacon is independent — no investors, and no data sold to anyone. That leaves the running costs with us. Donations go straight against the three things that cost money every month.

Market data: Price, funding and liquidation feeds from 50+ exchanges, polled and streamed around the clock. This is the largest single cost and it scales with every market we add.
Servers: The machines running the ingest pipeline, the alert scanners and the databases behind every board — sized for the whole market rather than a single watchlist.
Alert delivery: Every email, Discord message, Telegram message and webhook we send. Delivery is metered, so the busier the market gets, the more a quiet month costs.

Before you do

Do I get anything for donating?: No, and that is deliberate. A donation buys no features, no higher limits and no priority — everything on CoinBeacon stays available to everyone on the same terms. If you want to pay for a plan instead, wait for one; they are not active yet.
Why crypto and not a card?: Card payments mean a payment processor, a merchant account and holding personal data we currently have no reason to hold. A wallet address does not. If enough people ask for a card option we will look at it properly.
Is a donation refundable?: No. On-chain transfers cannot be reversed by us or by anyone else, so please send only what you are comfortable parting with, and check the network before you confirm.
