Top gainers
The biggest 24-hour price rises on Binance perpetuals. A coin climbing the board on rising volume is where momentum traders look first.

Top losers
The biggest 24-hour falls. Sharp drops mark capitulation, failed breakouts, or news the market is repricing — and often the start of a mean-reversion setup.

The same board in the app, with the context attached.
The two tables above are the headline. The board inside CoinBeacon — browsable without an account — carries the rest of it, and sits alongside the other live boards on Markets Overview, which puts movers, volume surges, funding extremes and liquidations on one screen.
- Seven windows, fourteen venues
- 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h and 24h, on any of 14 spot and futures venues, re-read every 30 seconds. When a venue has not collected enough history for the window you picked, the board says so and offers the windows it can actually serve rather than showing a half-filled list.
- All Markets, not just the top twenty
- A second tab ranks every market on the venue, not the leaders: search by ticker or coin name, flip the sort between biggest gain and biggest fall, fifty rows to a page.
- Breadth above the tables
- How many markets rose against how many fell over your window, the median move, and the venue’s single best and worst. It is the check on whether a leaderboard is a coin story or a market one — and when the green is concentrated in one sector, the narratives board names which one.
- Context on every row
- The 24-hour change beside the window change, a relative-volume tag when the last 15 minutes runs well above that coin’s own normal (Binance spot and futures, where candles are ingested), the 8-hour funding rate on futures venues, and a continuation or exhaustion tag from the pump and dump scanner. Rows also flag themselves as new to the board, or show how many places they climbed since the last refresh.
- Open a row for the chart
- Any row expands into a price chart for the window, with the high, the low and the value traded across it — then one click through to the full chart, the cross-exchange price comparison, or the funding board.
- Cut the noise, then set the alert
- Minimum market-cap and 24h-volume floors drop microcap noise out of the list, and a signed-in account can scope the whole board to a watchlist. The bell on each row opens a price alert already filled in with that coin and that venue.
A 24-hour board tells you late. An alert tells you first.
By the time a coin tops the 24-hour list, the move has happened. CoinBeacon watches 6,000+ coins on windows down to one minute and messages you the moment one moves by the amount you set — so you are early, not reading history.

How to read this board
- 01
Gainers — momentum forming
A coin near the top of the gainers list is under active buying. The move is real, but a 24-hour figure is a summary of what already happened — the earlier a shorter window flagged it, the more of the move was still ahead.
- 02
Losers — capitulation or reversal
The steepest falls mark forced selling or a failed move. Traders watch them both to avoid catching a falling knife and to find oversold coins that snap back.
- 03
The window is everything
The same coin can be a top gainer on the 1-hour board and a loser on the 24-hour one. A short window catches the move as it starts; a long window confirms the trend. Reading both is how you tell a spike from a shift.
- 04
Is it the coin, or the market?
Ten coins up 9% reads very differently depending on whether nearly every market is green or the split is even. Breadth — the count of rising against falling markets, and the median move — is what separates a market-wide bid from one coin doing something on its own. The in-app board carries it above the tables.
- 05
Volume and funding decide whether it holds
A double-digit move on ordinary volume is usually a wick. The same move on several times the coin's normal 15-minute volume has real participation behind it, and the funding rate says which side is already crowded — an extreme positive rate under a pump means longs are paying to stay in, which is how squeezes unwind.
Questions
- What are crypto market movers?
- Market movers are the coins whose price has changed the most over a given window — the top gainers (biggest rises) and top losers (biggest falls). They are how traders spot momentum and unusual activity without watching every chart.
- What window does this board use?
- The board above ranks price moves over the last 24 hours, which is how gainers and losers are conventionally compared. In the app you can switch the same board between 1-minute, 5-minute, 15-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour and 24-hour windows — the short windows are where you catch a move as it happens rather than after.
- Which market does this cover?
- These leaderboards rank Binance USDⓈ-M perpetual futures, which have the deepest liquidity. In the app you can point the same board at any of 14 spot and futures venues — ten spot markets including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, KuCoin, Gate.io, MEXC, Bitget and Huobi, plus the Binance, Bybit, OKX and Kraken futures markets — and nine of those are available without signing in.
- How often does it update?
- Prices are ingested continuously and this page serves a snapshot at most about a minute old. The timestamp above the tables shows how fresh the underlying data is, not when the page was rendered. The board inside the app re-reads itself every 30 seconds, and has a manual refresh for when you cannot wait.
- Can I see every market, not just the top twenty?
- Yes. The tables here are the top twenty rises and falls, which is the board's Top Movers view. The app has a second tab, All Markets, that lists every ranked market on the venue — searchable by ticker or coin name, sortable in either direction, fifty rows to a page. Browsing anonymously caps that list at 250 rows; signed in you get the full set.
- What is market breadth on a movers board?
- Breadth is how many markets rose against how many fell over the same window, rather than how far the leaders moved. The app shows it above the tables: the up/down split, the median move — the middle coin, so half moved more and half moved less — and the single best and worst market on the venue. A leaderboard of double-digit gains means one thing when nearly every market is green and quite another when the split is even.
- What do the tags next to a coin on the movers board mean?
- Three pieces of context, shown only when they are notable. A multiple like 3.2× is relative volume: the last 15 minutes traded that many times the coin's own normal, available on Binance spot and futures where candles are ingested. An F tag is the perpetual funding rate over eight hours on futures venues — positive means longs are paying shorts, negative the reverse. And cont. or exh. is the pump and dump scanner's read on whether the last candle is still pushing or the extreme was already rejected.
- Can I get alerted when a coin moves?
- Yes — that is the point of the product. Instead of refreshing a board, set a percentage or momentum alert and CoinBeacon emails, Telegrams, Discords or webhooks you the moment a coin moves by the amount you choose, on the timeframe you choose. Every row on the in-app board carries a bell that opens the alert form already filled in with that coin and that venue. The free plan covers it: 5 active alerts and 10 notifications a day.
