Alerts on abnormal moves
CoinBeacon's worker detects and de-duplicates pumps and dumps across the supported venues. This alert reads that feed, so you do not have to watch prices or charts. When a coin breaks out of its normal range or makes a new 24h extreme, the alert fires.
- Fresh moves only. Fires on events from the last few minutes, never a stale backlog.
- Pump, dump, or new extreme. Choose any mix of event types: an abnormally fast pump, a fast dump, or a fresh 24h high or low.
- De-duplicated at the source. The worker merges one move into one event, so a single spike sends a single alert instead of several near-identical ones.
- Four delivery channels. Email, Telegram, Discord or webhook: the same channels every CoinBeacon alert uses, on the free plan.

One coin or the whole market
Point the alert at a specific coin you hold, or switch it to any coin and a single alert covers every pair on the venue. Set the event types and a minimum % move once.
- Minimum move filter. Set a minimum, such as 8%, and only moves that clear it trigger a notification.
- Specific coin or scanner. One alert per position, or one alert for the whole market, which also catches coins you were not watching.
- Per-alert cooldown. Decide how long a coin stays quiet after it fires, so one large candle does not send repeated notifications.

The detector compares the last closed 1-minute close with the closes 1, 5 and 10 candles earlier (default thresholds 2, 5 and 7%) and with the 24h high/low every 30 seconds; the alert checks what it reports once a minute. Arrows replay threshold crossings, not alerts. A repeat of the same move is reported only after 15 minutes or at 1.5× the size. On Binance the alert also matches BTCUSDT moves on Binance Futures; this chart shows Binance Spot only.

How to set a crypto pump and dump alert
- 01Choose the scopePoint the alert at one coin you hold, or switch it to any coin (scanner) and a single alert covers every pair on the venue you pick.
- 02Pick the event typesTick any mix of four: pump, dump, new 24h high, new 24h low. Watch only the downside on a position you are sitting in, or only fresh highs when you are hunting breakouts.
- 03Set the minimum moveOptionally set a minimum move (for example 8%) on top of the detector's own threshold, so only larger moves reach you.
- 04Choose delivery and saveSend it to email, Telegram, Discord or a JSON webhook, and set the cooldown (60 minutes by default). CoinBeacon then watches the detection feed on its servers, with no tab or chart open.
Common uses
Pump alerts for coins you don't own yet
One any-coin alert covers every pair on the venue you pick, so the notification names the coin for you. To watch the moves yourself, the pump and dump detector board is the same detection feed as a live screen.
Dump alerts on the positions you actually hold
Pin an alert to the coin you are in, tick Dump only, and set a move size you would genuinely want waking up for. On perpetuals a fast flush and forced selling tend to show up together, so a liquidation alert beside it tells you how much leverage the drop cleared out.
New 24h high and low alerts when a range breaks
A fresh 24-hour extreme marks a coin leaving the range it had been trading in, often before the percentage move looks large. Turn on new 24h high, new 24h low, or both. For the longer horizon, the ATH and ATL board shows how far each coin still sits below its all-time high.
Telling a real pump from a fake-out
A spike on thin volume often snaps straight back. The alert tells you a move happened; whether there is fuel behind it is a volume question, so traders pair it with a volume alert that measures a coin against its own rolling baseline. Two pings on the same coin inside a minute read very differently from one.
Pump & dump alerts FAQ
- How is this different from the Pumping & Dumping screener?
- The screener is the live board you watch yourself, showing abnormal moves across the market as they are detected. The alert watches the same feed for you: set your event types and a minimum move once, and CoinBeacon notifies you when a coin qualifies, so you can close the tab.
- How big does a move have to be before the alert fires?
- Only moves the detector already flags as abnormal for their window qualify, and you can add a minimum move on top: set it to 8% and only events of at least 8% reach you. New 24h high and new 24h low events work differently: the fresh extreme itself is the trigger.
- Can one alert watch the whole market?
- Yes. Choose a specific coin, or select any coin (scanner) and a single alert covers every pair on the venue you pick; on Binance that is every spot and futures pair at once. Filter by event type (pump, dump, new 24h high, new 24h low) and a minimum % move.
- Which coins and exchanges do pump and dump alerts cover?
- Binance spot and futures, plus the Bybit, OKX and Gate.io perpetual markets. Point the alert at one coin or set the scope to any coin on a venue. The watching runs on CoinBeacon's servers, so nothing has to stay open on your side.
- Will it spam me when a coin keeps running?
- No. The alert fires only on fresh moves from the last few minutes, never a stale backlog, and each alert carries a per-alert cooldown. One pump sends one notification; you set how long before that coin can trigger again.
- Can I get alerted only when a coin prints a new 24h high?
- Yes. The four event types are independent, so leave new 24h high ticked and untick pump, dump and new 24h low. The same works in reverse: a dump-only alert on a coin you are holding, or 24h lows only.
- How fast do pump and dump alerts arrive, and where?
- To email, Telegram, Discord or a JSON webhook you control. The channel is chosen per alert, so a dump alert can reach you on Telegram while quieter ones go to email. There is no SMS, no phone call and no mobile app.
- Are crypto pump and dump alerts free?
