Click a pill and you get the choices a trader would actually say out loud — Top 100, Large caps, Oversold, Shorts pay longs, Down 50%+ from the high — not an empty operator box. Manual setup sits underneath for the one time in twenty the curated answer isn't yours.
- Quick choices, scaled to the window. A 24-hour change pill calls Above 5% a moderate move; switch the interval to 90 days and the same rung reads Above 30%, because a quarter is not a day.
- Intervals on the pill. Price change, change from venue closes, market-cap change and rank change each carry a window selector — 1 hour to 90 days, or up to a year from venue closes — so the question stays put while the horizon moves.
- Manual setup. Above, below, between or outside an exact value, typed with shorthand — 10m, 1.5b, 250k — and applied as you type.
- Compare against another metric. Set the target to another metric of the same unit instead of a number: 24h volume above the 30-day average volume, or 1h change above 24h change.

The + button opens the catalog: every metric grouped six ways, searchable, each with a one-line hint that says what it means rather than what it is called — and which coins can have it at all.
- Availability up front. A metric says whether it needs a venue listing, a perpetual, or N days of our own history, so an empty result reads as "no coin qualifies" and never as a bug.
- Null never matches. A coin with no reading is left out of both sides of a filter — never counted as a zero, never handed a 50 for RSI.
- Stablecoins out by default. Pegs are dropped before the filters run unless you ask for them; wrapped and staked mirrors are their own flag.
- Focus mode and fullscreen. Collapse the navigation and the presets row and the grid takes the whole screen; fullscreen is one click more.

Find oversold crypto on the 4-hour chart
RSI below 30 on the 4h, market cap above $10M, stablecoins out — that is the Oversold preset, and it takes one click. Add a 24h-volume floor so the list is tradeable, then put an RSI alert on the two or three you would actually buy.
Screen altcoins by market cap and volume before you trade them
Mid caps only, turnover above 25% of the cap, up more than 10% on the week: a liquidity screen that keeps thin tokens off your list. The volume movers board shows the same idea as a live ranking; the screener lets you set the thresholds.
Screen perpetuals by funding rate and open interest
Negative funding with open interest rising is a crowded short being added to; the Derivatives group filters both in one query. For the whole funding picture across venues, the live funding board sits one click away.
Coins near their all-time high — or 80% below it
Drawdown from ATH is a filter like any other, so “within 5% of the high” and “down 80% and still near the lows” are both presets. Combine either with the trend score or the setup quality score, both of which are screener metrics too.

- What is a crypto screener?
- A crypto screener is a table of every coin with filters on top. You state a condition — market cap above $100M, RSI below 30 on the 4-hour chart, funding rate negative — and it returns only the coins that meet it right now. CoinBeacon's screener runs that over 700+ coins with 78 metrics, and every filter combines with every other, so "mid caps up more than 25% in seven days and trading three times their normal volume" is one query rather than three tabs.
- Which filters does the crypto screener have?
- Seventy-eight, in six groups. Overview: market cap, rank, price, 24h volume, volume change, turnover, supply, dominance, market pairs, age and CoinMarketCap category tags. Performance: 1-hour to 90-day price change, 7-day to 1-year change from venue closes, market-cap and rank change, green-day streaks, realized volatility and distance from the 52-week high and low. Technicals: RSI, Stochastic RSI, MACD, EMA distance and alignment, golden and death crosses, ATR, Supertrend, Ichimoku, choppiness, Chaikin money flow, Bollinger %B and bandwidth, trend score, setup quality score, trendline breaks and divergences. Volume: relative volume, volume state, 30-day volume ratios and live pump or dump moves. Derivatives: funding rate and APR, open-interest change and trend, 24h liquidations and the long share of them. - Can I screen crypto by RSI, MACD and other indicators?
- Yes. Every technical metric is evaluated on the timeframe you pick — 15m, 1h, 4h, 1d or 1w — and computed from closed candles, so a coin that is oversold on the 4-hour chart stays oversold until the next 4-hour candle closes instead of flickering with every tick. Readings come from five venues: Binance spot and the Binance, Bybit, OKX and Gate.io perpetual-futures markets. A coin with no listing on any of them shows a dash for its technicals and is left out of a technical filter rather than counted as a zero.
- How is a crypto screener different from a market scanner or an alert?
- A screener answers a question now: which coins meet these conditions at this moment. A market scan or an alert watches for the condition to become true and messages you when it does. They work together — build the screen, see who qualifies today, then hand the same condition to the market scanner or to a single-coin alert so you hear about the next coin to cross it while you are away from the screen.
- Which coins and exchanges does the crypto screener cover?
- The universe is 700+ coins ranked by market cap, with price, volume, supply and category data from CoinMarketCap for every one of them. Technicals and volume states come from the five venues CoinBeacon ingests candles from — Binance spot plus Binance, Bybit, OKX and Gate.io futures — and funding, open-interest and liquidation metrics need a perpetual-futures listing, which roughly half the universe has. Each metric says which of those it needs before you filter on it, so an empty result means no coin qualifies, not that something broke.
- Can I screen crypto by funding rate or open interest?
- Yes. The Derivatives group filters on the current 8-hour funding rate and its annualized equivalent, the 1-hour change and the trend in open interest, 24-hour liquidations in dollars and the long share of the last hour's liquidations. Two presets ship for it: Expensive longs finds perps where longs are paying shorts unusually heavily, and Negative funding finds the crowded shorts.
- Can I save a screen, and are there presets?
- Fifteen presets ship with the screener — Oversold (4h), Volume surge, Capitulation, Near all-time high, Negative funding, Fresh momentum, Volatility squeeze, Golden cross (1d) and more — and each one loads as ordinary editable filters, so you can start from one and move a threshold. Your own screens save to your account, up to 20, and the filter bar remembers where you left off between visits.
- Does the crypto screener tell me the best crypto to buy?
- No. It shows which coins meet the conditions you set and nothing more — no buy or sell calls and no ranking of "best". A screen for oversold coins returns coins that are oversold, some of which will keep falling. Everything on this page and in the app is market data, not financial advice.
