A crypto market overview that fits on one screen.
How big the market is, which way it moved today, what is running, where volume and funding are stretched, and who is being liquidated — in a single pass instead of four tabs. Live, and open without an account.

Reconnecting — price movers catching up. Every other panel on this page is current.
The four boards, at once
Four separate tabs is four chances to miss the thing that mattered. Price shows the move, volume says whether anyone participated, funding says which side is exposed, and liquidations say what it cost them. Each panel carries its own window, venue and data age, because they are genuinely different measurements.

Across the boards
The reason to keep the four in one view: coins that appear on more than one at the same moment. A coin is counted as on a board when it sits on the 24-hour movers list, trades at least 2× its own normal volume, carries funding at least 0.05% away from neutral per 8 hours, or lands in the 15 most liquidated coins of the day. This is the overlap, counted — not a recommendation.

An overview tells you where to look. An alert tells you when.
Reading this page is still you deciding when to read it. CoinBeacon watches the same feeds continuously and messages you on the condition you name — a level crossed, a percentage move, funding turning, a coin cascading. Price and percentage alerts run across 6,000+ coins on 50+ exchanges, and every alert lands in email, Telegram, Discord or a webhook.

How to read this screen
- 01
Start with the market, not the coin
Total market cap and its 24-hour change set the frame: a coin up 12% on a day the whole market is up 4% is a different story from the same 12% on a red day. BTC dominance and the Fear & Greed reading say how concentrated and how nervous the tape is before you read a single row.
- 02
Volume is what makes a move real
The volume panel measures each coin against its own baseline, not against bitcoin — that is what makes a microcap trading 8× normal comparable to a major doing the same. A price move with no volume behind it is one participant; a move with a multiple of normal volume is a crowd.
- 03
Funding says who is exposed
Positive funding means longs are paying shorts to hold, negative means the reverse. The further from neutral, the more one-sided the positioning — and one-sided positioning is exactly the fuel that shows up on the liquidation panel when price moves against it.
- 04
One board is a coincidence, three is an event
A coin on the movers list alone might be a thin book on a quiet afternoon. The same coin on the movers list with several times its normal volume, funding stretched and forced closes printing is one event described four ways. That is what the overlap table counts.
Questions
- What is a crypto market overview?
- One screen that answers what the market is doing right now: how large the tracked coin universe is and which way it moved today, which coins are moving, which are trading far above their own normal volume, where perpetual funding has gone one-sided, and what is being force-closed. Each of those alone is a partial view. Read together they usually explain each other.
- How do I check the crypto market in a minute?
- Read it top down. Total market cap and its 24-hour change give you direction, BTC dominance tells you whether value is concentrated in bitcoin or spreading out, and then the four boards fill in the detail: what moved, whether volume backs the move, whether funding is crowded on one side, and who got liquidated. The whole pass takes about as long as loading a single exchange tab.
- What does total crypto market cap actually tell you?
- It is the combined value of the coin universe CoinBeacon tracks, so its 24-hour change is the closest single number to a market-wide return. The interesting days are the ones where that number barely moves while individual coins swing hard — that is value rotating between coins and sectors rather than entering or leaving crypto.
- What does BTC dominance mean on a market summary?
- It is bitcoin's share of that total market cap. Dominance rising while the total falls says value is concentrating in the largest asset; dominance falling while the total rises is the condition traders label an alt season. Treat it as context for the boards underneath rather than a signal on its own.
- Why does the same coin show up on several boards at once?
- Because the boards measure different symptoms of one event. A single move can put a coin on the price movers list, push its volume several times above its own baseline, drag funding away from neutral and produce forced liquidations. This page joins the four boards by coin and lists anything appearing on two or more, with the boards it hit. That is raw overlap, not a recommendation.
- Is this crypto market data live, and do I need an account?
- It is live and open. Every board here reads the same public feeds the app does, and each panel prints the age of its own data so you can see exactly how current it is. No login, no card. The equivalent screen inside the app is browsable as a guest as well.
- What is the difference between a market overview and a screener?
- A screener answers one question thoroughly — the biggest movers, the widest funding, the loudest volume. An overview is for the question you have not thought to ask: it puts all four in one view so an event that only makes sense across boards is not hidden behind a tab you never opened. Once something looks worth a closer look, the screeners are where you take it.
- Can CoinBeacon tell me when something changes instead of me watching?
- That is what an account is for. Nineteen alert types cover price levels, percentage moves, momentum, funding rates, liquidations and more, delivered to email, Telegram, Discord or a webhook. The free plan runs 5 active alerts and 10 notifications a day, with no card.
