Crypto scanners: trending coins and pump detection

How CoinBeacon's scanners find coins that are trending, pumping or dumping, with the exact rules each one uses, so you can judge a signal yourself.

The CoinBeacon Trend Scanner matrix for Binance Spot, USDT pairs: rows for BNB, TRX, DOGE, BCH, LTC and other large coins, each with a confluence badge and a trend score from −100 to +100 in columns for 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day and 1 week, coloured red for bearish and green for bullish, above quick filters for All, Aligned long, Aligned short and Fresh 15m.

How to spot trending coins in real time

Trend strength, sector momentum and unusual volume are three different signals. How to read each one on CoinBeacon, and what each can and cannot tell you.

The CoinBeacon Pumping & Dumping board: filters for quote currency, exchange, market cap and volume, then event cards for MET, W and WLFI. Each card names the event, such as New 24h low −6.49%, tags it Volume-confirmed 2.07× or Unconfirmed 0.67×, shows the price move, a candle chart with volume bars, and the move, relative volume and 24-hour volume figures.

How pump-and-dump detection works

The exact rules CoinBeacon uses to flag a coin as pumping or dumping: the price moves, the time windows, the volume check and the exchanges it watches.
